NOTES
- Ballalhie
- John Quayle married Mary Crellin 11th July 1786, Michael
- His burial listed him as 95 years of age, so born c1742 (a late marrier or a second marriage?)
- Children nominated in his will - Margaret 1787, John 1789, Elizabeth 1791, WiIliam 1793-1794, 1795. Thomas 1801 was mentioned in his mother's will six years later but not in this will yet after probate, yet he was one of the legatees noted as receiving his entitlement
- Jane gets a special mention although she was not born to John and Mary nor mentioned in the will of Mary Quayle als Crellin so it seems likely that she is from his first marriage. She is not mentioned in any of the probate papers so perhaps she had died?
- Elizabeth did not marry, became her mother's executor, and after her mother died, lived with her niece, Margaret Mylrea on Cronk Urleigh
- Son John married Ann Kegg in 1827 in Ballaugh. She died in 1860, he died intestate in 1862 and it seems they only had one child, a daughter named Ann who married Robert Cretney
- Margaret married William Brew
- Jane Garrett was recorded in the LV as receiving and selling to her half-brother John part of a tenancy in Michael
